Solvang gruppe is a Scout Group in Glostrup
(West of Copenhagen), and belongs to
Det Danske Spejderkorps.
The Danish Guide and Scout Association
Together with other Groups in the neighbourhood, we are the
VESTSKOV division
The ScoutHut is located in the Solvang Park, which is where we get the name Solvang Group. (Solvang = SunField)
We wear a blue uniform and green scarf. A yellow sun is printed on the scarf.
Boy Scouts and Girl Guides are mixed together in our Groups, and we find the experience a good one.
Our Seniors have a Clan called "Nissebanden" (The Goblin Gang)

~ 120 members make up this Group.
North of Glostrup we have "Vestskoven" ( West Wood ) where we bike ride, build caves, make campfires, practise axes, saws and knives, ....
On campouts we sleep in tents and cook our meals over open fires.
The youngest (Mikro) sleep in a Hut.
